Description
The Microsoft .NET Framework provides a large class library known as the Framework Class Library (FCL) and a software environment in which .NET programs execute called the Common Language Runtime (CLR).
Mono, an open source implementation of the CLR, enables .NET applications to run cross-platform as it targets Linux and other operating systems including Android and iOS and powers popular game engines.
