Description

The ELK stack, aka. Elastic stack, is an integrated software stack composed of Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana. Elasticsearch is a document-oriented database and search engine based on Apache Lucene. It is developed alongside Logstash, a data collection and log-parsing engine. As a data collection and information retrieval system, the ELK/Elastic stack is often used for aggregating and processing text-based event and log messages.
