Description
Overleaf is a web-based editor for LaTeX, the typesetting system widely used for scientific papers, theses and technical documents. You write your document in the browser, see the typeset PDF as you work, and can share a project with others so that you edit it together in real time. There is nothing to install.
The Department of Computer Science provides Overleaf for use by the Hofstra community.
Get Started
- Go to overleaf.cs.hofstra.edu.
- Register for an account with your Hofstra email address, then sign in.
- Create a new project, or upload an existing LaTeX project.
To work with LaTeX on your own computer instead, install a LaTeX distribution such as TeX Live.
