High school student who worked with Dr. Kamberova is Intel Semifinalist!

David Golub, 2006 Intel semifinalist, is a student at Paul D. Schreiber High School. He worked with Professor Gerda Kamberova in the Department of Computer Science on a computer vision project entitled "Finding and Orienting the Normals to a Cloud of Points". The project addresses an important problem in computer vision and computer graphics, namely the recovering of the shape of unknown 3D objects from an unorganized cloud of points taken from, or representing, a 3D scene.
