Title: Sequence Alignment of Proteins
and DNA Sequences
Abstract: Bioinformatics is a study of problems
related to storage, retreival and analysis of information
about the sequence, structure and function of biological
sequences.
In this talk, I will present algorithms and tools for
sequence alignment, a central topic in bioinformatics that is key to
understanding the evolutionary relationships among various protein
sequences, and also for sequencing and retreiving biological sequences
like DNA, m-RNA and proteins.
In this talk, I will attempt to overview Algorithms for pairwise
sequence alignment and multiple sequence alignment.
